Diocesan Athletics Carnival

Date: Wednesday 28th July, 2021 

Venue: Hunter Sport Centre, Stockland Drive Glendale 

Time: 9.45am - 2.00pm approximately. Students are expected to stay for the duration of the carnival. 

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, spectators will not be able to attend the Diocesan Athletics Carnival.  

Transport: The Central Region has organised two buses to transport students to and from the event.  
The following information is for students from St. Columba’s, St. John’s, St. Joseph’s, Holy Family and St. Patrick’s: 

For those parents who like a copy of the program, Team Managers will be selling them for $2 for students to buy. The canteen will be available to students.

This QR code can be scanned throughout the day of the carnival which will show live results.

Postponed events in Week 4 & 5 Term 3 

• NSWPSSA Girls' Rugby 7 Championship  
• NSWPSSA Boys Touch Championships 

Cancelled events in Term 3 

• NSWCPS Hockey Gala Day 

In line with the Premier’s announcement regarding the extension of COVID-19 restrictions for Greater Sydney, the NSW All Schools U16 Boys & Girls Hockey Tri Series, 5 & 6 August @ Newcastle; NSWPSSA Girls' Rugby 7 Championship 9 – 10 August @ Gateshead; NSWPSSA  Boys Touch Championships 10 - 12 August @ St Marys  have been postponed. 

With the current COVID-19 restrictions for Greater Sydney and in the Western region, we are conscious that these events require travel for a number of families and staff therefore wish to provide as much notice as possible. 

CSNSW Sport and the School Sport Unit will investigate dates and venues with a view to running the pathway events later in the year and will provide regular updates for students, families, staff and schools.
