Choir News
On Thursday 24th May some members of our Senior Choir went on an excursion to the Apple Store at Charlestown Square. During our two hour workshop an Apple Specialist led our choir members through a program called ‘Garageband’ to help us as begin composing our own songs using different sounds. In pairs we were able to create our own pieces of music using loops and different instruments such as; drums, piano, guitar, woodwind, strings and of course our voices. At the end of our workshop some pairs were able to share their own pieces in front of everyone.
We would like to say a big thank you to our parents for helping transport us to and from the Apple Store along with Ms McGinlay, Mrs McMillian and Mr Michael Nolan for providing a great opportunity.
