What are the Catholic beliefs about the dignity of the human person? 2. How do we show respect, to all people, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, age, nationality, physical ability, religion or economic status? 3. Who are the marginalised and how should Christians respond? 4. What did Jesus show us about being ‘kingdom people’? |
Year 6: Weeks 6-10 – Values |
Students will learn about the content, structure and meaning of different types of stories found in the Christian Scriptures. Key Inquiry Questions: 1. What are some of the ways we can read and interpret the stories in the Christian Scriptures? 2. What are some of the factors that influence the way the stories in the Christian Scriptures were written? 3. What images of the Trinity are portrayed in the Christian Scriptures? 4. How do these images help us to know God? |

St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal – Thank you!
This week, we welcomed Francis Barbar from St Vincent de Paul to St Joseph’s.
