Principal's Message

Dear Parents,

Welcome back to our 2025 school year.  I hope you all had a wonderful break and enjoyed lots of special moments with your friends and families.

This is just a brief note this week, to update you on a few essential things and then we will share a whole school newsletter with you on Friday 21st February.  Our pattern of even weeks  throughout each term for the newsletter will remain in place.

This week is officially classified as Week 2, despite it being the students’  first week back.   This is because school staff officially started last week and that was classified as Week 1.

Upcoming Events

Meet the Teacher  Information Evening – next Tuesday 11th February

This is our annual parent teacher information night where you get to meet your children’s teachers and learn about all things relevant to each grade and/or class.

As in the past, each teacher will have two sessions and we invite you to come along to the session that is most suitable for you.

The first session will begin at 5:30pm, followed by a whole school meeting in the hall at 6:00pm and a final teacher session at 6:30pm. If you choose to come to the first session we ask that you make your way to the hall afterwards for a brief whole school meeting.  Alternatively, if you are coming to the second meet the teacher session, please come along a little earlier (6:00pm) for the whole school meeting in the hall.

All teachers’ presentations will be held in your children’s classrooms.

We look forward to seeing you next Tuesday evening.

Beginning of the School Year Mass and Leadership Ceremony –   Thursday 20th February at 9:15am

We invite you all to this special ceremony to commence our school year, welcoming all our new families and students, as well as our returning students, families and staff. This is then followed by a commissioning ceremony of our Year 6 student leaders.  You are then welcome to join us for morning tea in the school grounds.
